About Me, and Why Am I Giving This Information Away?

This is the place where I get to tout my own horn. I won’t. Not because I am timid; it’s because I don’t have to.

My name is Tova Galnur. I've worked in corporate world for more years than I care to admit. I've seen a lot of "fairy tale management" behavior. I've managed small and large departments, and I owned a retail boutique until I was bought out.

After being certified as a management instructor, I taught management; and most of pearls of wisdom in this site came from the syllabus I used.

I've noticed that I am sought for consultations by my friends who own small businesses and who marveled at the simplistic, common sense approach to deal with their issues. I thought this site can help others.

Everything here is COMMON SENSE. In the daily rush of managing companies and the major challenges facing each business, we seem to forget common sense.
